Here are my images from Sedona.  What a gorgeous place!  Most photographers think of Sedona in terms of its color possibilities because, of course, of its amazing red rock formations.  I definitely have a number of those images.

However, I found the formations equally striking for their sculptural qualities.  I also spent many hours hiking during the day, when the light was harshest, and I found that I liked the dramatic contours and shadowing the light revealed on the rocks.  It gave them a whole different look than the soft, saturated sunset look.  I also included a few shots from our trip up to Flagstaff and some retro Route 66 iconic machinery.

I hope to back to the red rocks (they call it "Red Rock Fever") again for more great hiking and photograph opportunities!
