On our way back from Canada this summer, we spent the night in downtown Seattle, just under a mile from Pike Place Market. This is one of my favorite places to visit in this great city, and I wasn't disappointed on this visit! oThis wonderful public market overlooks the Elliott Bay waterfront in Seattle, and consists of multiple levels and numerous specialty stores in addition to the fresh food and fish on the street front level. There are also a number of restaurants in the market, and we had a wonderful meal at Maximilen, a French restaurant with a wonderful outdoor deck overlooking the water. The sunset was unexpectedly gorgeous, and I couldn't resist taking a few photos as the moon rose, the ferris lit up, and the ferries cruised into the by.
