Vancouver, B.C. has to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Located on the Burrard Peninsula, it lies between Burrard Inlet to the north and the Fraser River to the south. The North Shore Mountains dominate the cityscape, with the Straight of George to the west. Like all parts of the Northwest, it gets lots of rain and dramatic weather, but it also gets clear days that can be stunning.
My family lived in Vancouver for five years when I was a child, and I still love to visit the area. Our most recent visit was in the summer of 2012. I didn't have a lot of time for too much photography, but I pulled them out recently and thought some were worth posting. I'll continue to add to it each time I go back!
