We are Orlando pulse shooting sacramento vigil fine art collage american rainbow flags collages allan

Tomorrow is the one-year anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shootings. Forty-nine people were killed and another 58 injured at "Latin Night," the deadliest incident of violence against LGBTQ people in United States history. It was also the deadliest terrorist attack in the United States since 9/11. "We are Orlando" is the limited-edition art piece I created to honor the victims of that particular tragedy, as well as all others who have been attacked in a hate-crime of any kind. Each star in my modified flag contains the face of one of the victims, and the 50th star contains the rainbow flag, symbol of the LGBTQ community. The main image overlaid on the flag was a photo I took at the candlelight vigil held last year in Sacramento after the shooting.  Note:  All net proceeds from sale of this limited-edition print are to be donated to the LGBT Center of Central Florida
