I purchased a Lumix underwater camera for our upcoming summer trip to Hawaii. Of course, I wanted to try it out on a few images before leaving, so while in Palos Verdes for my niece's graduation, I hiked down to Abalone Cove. This beautiful area lies below P.V.'s famous bluffs, and includes little tidepools, as well as sand and rocky beach areas.
I took the first photo because I was struck by the beauty of the lone tree growing on the ledge of the bluffs. The other one was a successful underwater shot of an anemone. I think they are such bizarre and beautiful creatures.
