Shooting Day #1 at The Homeless World Cup

This past Saturday, the Homeless World Cup arrived in Sacramento. For the first time in the organization’s 20-year existence, a U.S. city was chosen to host the weeklong event. Pre-Pride in the Castro District

We were not able to get to San Francisco Pride this year, but we did do a fun, self-guided walking tour of the Castro District, the city’s historic gayborhood. That is, once we found parking! I had the pleasure of attending the 150th anniversary celebration of Japanese immigration to the U.S. at the Wakamatsu Fest150, held in Placerville June 6-9, 2019. All images were taken with my Nikon D750 camera and Nikon Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6g lens.
